KIRSTY KEILLER
I have been interested in sports and fitness from a young age, mainly horse riding and swimming.
I have ridden horses as my main sport since I was 7, but really got into gym work and running during my 20's. I entered my first race and from then on have enjoyed a much wider variety of fitness, gym work, boxing, running, weights, classes, swimming and spinning. I am very focused on running, cycling and swimming and lately I have been competing a lot more. I found myself increasingly interested in fitness and nutrition throughout my 20's and then decided to turn this into my career.
I am qualified PT as well as spinning instructor, Johnny G and I am currently training in Body Pump and nutritional advice. I especially enjoy teaching spinning and am often told that I teach the best class of the week, even if I am called a "pit bull"!!!!
I believe in helping clients achieve goals, personal bests and reassuring them as to how much they can push their bodies and the likely results they can achieve. It is rewarding to see this in action and watch clients gain strength, fitness and confidence.
I have many personal training clients and I enjoy training people at all levels of fitness. I have recently encouraged two clients to enter a running event. One of them had never seen herself as a runner but I encouraged her to enter and we all ran the 5 mile race together. I find my job, extremely satisfying and rewarding and absolutely love it.
I also teach and train in schools across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. The students vary from 11 to 17 years old and they learn about the body, CV system, nutrition and diet and work on all aspects of fitness. The sessions are all centred around a boxing based circuit called ‘Box Clever'. The students love it.
