Circuit training is a fast-paced class, which is excellent for increasing strength and aerobic fitness while burning lots of calories, in which you do one exercise and then move on to another. Everyone begins at a station (that is, a place where an exercise is done), and when the Chris yells “Time!”, everyone moves to the next free station. Classes usually alternate an aerobic activity (like skipping) with a muscle-strengthening activity (like using kettlebells). Circuit classes work well for busy people who want to combine a strength and aerobic routine in one workout.
Although circuit training tends to be intense, it’s completely adaptable to the individual. Chris will assess beginners and you may initially use less weight and perform simpler moves than more-experienced exercisers, but everyone gets a good workout. Sessions can either be paid on a drop in basis at £10 or in blocks of 6 or 12 at £8
