Thank you Chris

Being a teenager, (and not an immensely active one at that), I was definitely struggling to find some extra means of losing my baby fat.

A flat stomach was number one of the wish list, so something involving plenty of toning was drastically needed. When my Mum suggested personal training to me, I'll be honest, my jaw hit the ground.

I pondered it for a while, envisaging myself doing vigorous exercises, while an unknown figure yelled at me through a megaphone.

But oh ho, how wrong I was!

When we first met he was beyond nice and, praise be, he's stayed that way to this day.  Over three weeks I lost half a stone and I can wholeheartedly put it down to my sessions with Chris.

He pushes me far enough each week, so I can still stand but I also feel an enormous sense of accomplishment after every workout.  He's cleverly worked in exercises to help with my badminton and movements to help with my dance. He's smoothly worked around everything from a cold to a calf injury.

I know that all sounds dandy, but it gets twice as good.

He's a friend.

No megaphones here, just some exercise cards, a medicine ball and a smile.

Truly, he is admirably patient and such a laugh. I wake up in the mornings, excited for some new stretches and a good gossip. It's so easy. He pops around and brings his equipment with him. Whether its boxing or a quick jog up the road, I can do it all in a safe and comfortable environment. Honestly, at fourteen, gyms can be a tad intimidating.

Thanks to Chris, I can happily walk past the mirror now and change for P.E. with my friends and not in the toilets.  What he provides is second to none: someone who will motivate you and encourage you every step of the way.

I've put my trust in him, and I've never felt better about myself.

Alex
