Box Office

"Box Office" is a unique, tailored solution to offering fitness in the workplace with the principles of boxing at the heart of the sessions, thereby keeping the work-outs intense, effective, participative and fun.
Box Office

"Box Office" is an entirely new concept corporate training.

It is designed to reframe the fitness options for people in employment because it is taking fitness into the workplace rather than asking workers to get to a gym.

Trojan Training recognises the majority of adults in this country are working in a part time or full time capacity but are handicapped by time and circumstance to invest sufficiently in their own health. Working days and commuting times are getting longer not shorter and so time "for self" is at a premium. On the other hand, employers recognise the value of having a healthy workforce but so far the solutions to address this have in the main surmounted to offering reduced gym membership to staff or for the larger or more progressive companies on-site gyms / studios. Trojan Training is changing the rules on this and wishing to work with employers to build fitness into their staff's working day.

Trojan Training is committed to providing the most effective and time-efficient training possible given the restrictions of time and within the confines of the workplace. The principles of boxing will therefore be pivotal to the sessions in order to maximize time and the full fitness regime will be worked around this.

Group Training sessions will involve the principles of boxing fitness training to the corporate market under the banner "Box Office". This focuses round a training concept for employees which allows them to do a beneficial supervised safe and intense workout and be back at the desk within the hour showered and changed. Encouraging companies to invest in employee well-being has the benefits of:

  • harnessing employee loyalty
  • promoting health and fitness within the work place
  • recognising benefits of healthy employees by improving working attitude and reducing employee sick days and effectively and positively managing stress

These will involve 40 minutes training sessions before / during and after work. Sessions will involve ideally 8 people max and 6 people min. The boxing theme was used for two reasons. Pad work and punching is proven to help release pent up aggression and help with stress management, also the intensity and exercises employed in traditional boxing training make it ideal to achieve a lot in a short space of time. Sessions will take place at work, ideally in offices with access to gym / showers. Evening sessions can also be run in companies without these facilities in open plan areas so employees can go home and shower afterwards.

Did you know? More and more people are classed as overweight (having a body mass index between 25-29), or obese (having a body mass index of 30 or above). The body mass index (BMI) calculates whether you are a healthy weight for your height. An ideal BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9. If you know your height and weight you can work out your own BMI using the BMI Calculator
